Your Family

Your family is the unique and blessed world  of people and pets with whom you have chosen to share your life.

How happy and successful your family is, depends largely on how happy and successful you are as a woman.  As a woman you are either a wife or mother, in simple terms.  In reality, you are the companion your husband needs to confide in; his lover; his friend; his trusted advisor; his nurturer; the Lady of his home and the Queen of his heart.

Once you are aware of your special power to inspire, love and support your husband, your life will explode with colour, joy and success.  When you and your mate are thriving, your children and all who encounter you will benefit.

You will be a Real Woman of Worth within your own unique world.

What Is A Real Woman of Worth?

Every single one of you women have worth – some of you are just more aware and accepting of it than others.  Knowing where to look to find your authentic self is the key.  It is within you, if you would only take the courage to look.

When a woman is aware of her worth and she is confident about who she is, something wonderful occurs:  her partner, her children and all those who surround her or come into contact with her, benefit in the most incredible ways.

I have met many women of worth, and I continue to meet them.  Those who left the deepest impression upon me were those whom I had the honour of meeting in Italy.  What impressed me most is that despite whatever was going on around them at any given time, they were grounded, sure of themselves, gifted with a lovely sense of humour and blessed with an ancient wisdom that “even if the old bastard is having an affair, it is okay because one day, he will come home to Mama.”  This from a beautiful Signora in her early fifties who had money, a gorgeous villa in Rome, apartments in Monaco, Ibiza and Mustique and an intriguing hubbie in his late sixties who just couldn’t keep “il pisello” in his pants.  She shared with me that if she had not been educated in the ways of a woman of worth, that she would have succumbed to depression and despondancy.  But because she knew her own worth, she was able to live a full, splendid life with many rewards.  And yes, she loved her hubby with all of her heart.  She doted on him, entertained his friends and most of all, she put up with his “flirtations”. “Sono solo sciocchezze” – “it’s only silliness” she would say and sip her Amoretto.

Moral of the story, Ladies:  there is hope, and it comes in many forms, shapes and sizes, to coin a phrase.

Top 5 Maternity Outfits!

Good news for all of you Moms-to-be:  you do not have to break the bank to create a maternity wardrobe that will keep you looking like a HOT MAMA. You just need to be a little creative, or if you don’t have the time or energy to do that – just read Michelle Moss’s  list below:

Top 5 Maternity Must-Have’s:

1. A basic pair of quality black pants.

2. A good pair of blue jeans

3. A couple of casual, trendy, stretchy t-shirts or tank tops (I bought these in a regular store but one size bigger than I normally wear – they worked for my entire pregnancy!).

4. A few funky accessories (like fun shoes, a bright handbag, or chunky jewelry) to take the attention off of those expanding body parts that you’re not feeling so good about (i.e. your butt, hips and thighs!).

5. A stretchy black, low-waisted skirt (this lasted me my entire pregnancy because I could dress it up or down).

Although you may feel tempted to hang out in sweats and/or a baggy t-shirt rut, oversized clothing will only make you look bigger and will not help you feel feminine and attractive.

And even though you might not always feel it, pregnancy is a gorgeous time in your life. Dressing up and getting out is the best medicine for those days when you feel fat and frumpy – so do it whenever you can :)

Flaunt your belly, you’re gorgeous (stop rolling your eyes, when you look back at your pregnancy pictures you’ll agree with me)!

Your goal is to be a HOT MAMA!

The Power of a Woman!

Hello to all of you lovely Gals – no matter what your status, position or state of mind or heart – take time here to replenish yourself as a Real Woman of Worth.

Real Women of Worth are women who take the time to unpack the luggage of their lives, examine the contents, throw what they no longer need and then repack a lighter load to continue on with life’s journey to reclaiming their Authentic Self.

Imagine being able to sit down among other women, friends and soul-sisters, while you all take a look at your accumulated baggage and sort through your regrets, mistakes, accomplishments and achievements.  Imagine taking advice, suggestions, tips and learning strategies from each other as you help each other unfold, fold, toss out or keep the precious lessons that you have learned throughout your life.  Imagine coming away from weekly meetings with a lighter load each time until you only carry with you what is vital to your success.

That is what Real Women of Worth is all about:  helping you discover your real worth so that you can use it to empower yourself and those around you.
